Waves

Waves is located within the Ramada Chennai Egmore on Gandhi Irwin Bridge Road, 600008. We are near the Cmda Building. Egmore is one of the busiest parts of Chennai, especially with the train station nearby. We get a lot of people passing through every day. The weather in Chennai is usually very hot, so we make sure the indoor environment is okay for anyone who walks in to eat. We aren't a corporate office; we are just the people who run the restaurant. There is a lot of routine work, like cleaning tables and prepping ingredients for the meals. We don't have any fancy mission statements or marketing talk. We just focus on the daily operations. The staff here has been together for a while, and we just do our jobs. The noise from the traffic on Gandhi Irwin Bridge Road is something we hear all day, but we are used to it by now. We have been at this address for some time and we just keep things simple. We don't put out big advertisements or try to sound like a huge brand. It is just a regular place to eat in a busy part of the city. We show up, do the work, and get ready for the next day. Most of our guests are people staying at the hotel or working in the government buildings nearby. We just keep things going every day as best as we can. It’s an honest living for us here in Chennai.
