Al Mujahid Restaurant is located in the Parrys area of Chennai. Our building is on Krishna Koil Street, right near the Thambu Chetty Street crossing. If you know the Krishna Kovil in Parrys, you will find us very close to that landmark. The address is actually an old number 124, which is now new number 270. This part of Chennai is very old and the streets are quite narrow and crowded most of the time. It is not the easiest place to drive a car, but people walk around here a lot for shopping. We have been serving food to the local workers and residents for a long time. We aren't a big, air-conditioned place with a lot of fancy decorations. It is just a basic restaurant where the focus is on the food and getting people fed quickly. We open early and stay busy until the evening. The area has a lot of history and we feel like a small part of it. Sometimes things get a bit chaotic when there is a lot of traffic outside, but that is just life in Parrys. We don't have a website or any big marketing plans. We just rely on the people who live and work around here to keep coming back.
