Aasife Biriyani

Aasife Biriyani is located at No 124, S N Chetty Road in Royapuram. We are right opposite the Kalmandapam police station. This is an old part of Chennai, and our building reflects that. It has been around for many years. We have a few floors for seating, and the stairs are a bit steep and narrow. S N Chetty Road is always full of noise from the buses and cars passing by. Our restaurant is a busy place where we serve biriyani to a lot of people every day. We don't have any fancy air conditioning or expensive decor. It’s just a place to sit down and eat. The staff is mostly local guys who have been with us for a while. We use large steel plates and try to get the food to the table quickly. On Sundays, the line can get quite long and we sometimes run out of food by the evening. We don't have a big marketing team; we just rely on people telling their friends about us. It’s a simple operation in an old neighborhood. We just focus on the cooking and keeping the floors clean. The kitchen is on the ground floor and you can see the big pots. We have some regular customers who have been coming for years.
