Anjugam Chettinadu Restaurant

Anjugam Chettinadu Restaurant is at No 1065 on Munuswamy Salai in K K Nagar. We are actually located upstairs in the Pondicherry House building. The pin code here in Chennai is 600078. Since we are on the first floor you have to walk up the stairs to find us. It is a bit quieter up there away from the immediate noise of the street traffic. Munuswamy Salai is a busy road so there is always something happening outside the windows. We have been at this location for some time now. The dining area is simple with standard tables and chairs. We do not have fancy decorations. People come up those stairs for the food. The kitchen is busy from early morning with the sound of chopping and pans clicking. We get a lot of locals from the K K Nagar neighborhood who have been coming to us for a long time. Sometimes it gets a bit hot in the afternoons but we have fans to keep the air moving. We just focus on the daily routine of serving people who walk through the door. It is a practical business and we do not try to be anything we are not. Being upstairs gives us a view of the street while people eat. The stairs can be a little narrow but most people do not mind the climb. We just keep the place clean for the next person.
