Vallalar Hotel

Vallalar Hotel is located at No 512 on Mint Street, right in the Sowcarpet area of Chennai. If you’ve been to Sowcarpet, you know how crowded and lively it is. The Mint Tower Clock is the big landmark nearby that everyone uses to find their way around. It’s 600001, so right in the middle of everything. Our place is tucked into this busy part of the city where the streets are narrow and full of shops. We don’t have any fancy signs or big glass windows. It’s just a local hotel where people come when they are in the neighborhood. Mint Street is famous for being hectic, and we are right in the thick of it. Every morning starts with the sounds of the city waking up. We open our doors and wait for the day to begin. It’s a lot of work keeping up with the pace of Chennai, but we’ve gotten used to it over time. People come in for a bit of a break from the noise outside. We don’t try to be anything we aren’t. It’s a simple building with a lot of history around it. The clock tower is always there as a reminder of where we are. We just focus on the basics and make sure things are running okay. It’s a practical spot for regular people. No polished floors or corporate uniforms here, just us working on Mint Street.
