Udipi Hotel Srinivas

We are located at number 190 on T H Road in the Tondiarpet area of Chennai. This part of the city is very industrial and the road is always full of heavy trucks and motorcycles. It can get very dusty outside, so we try to keep the front doors closed as much as we can. We have rooms for people to stay in and a place to eat on the ground floor. Most of our guests are people traveling for work or families visiting relatives in North Chennai. The building is a bit plain, just a concrete structure that we try to keep clean. The rooms are simple with just the basic things you need. We don't have those fancy lobbies you see in big hotels. Our reception desk is just a small wooden table where we keep the register. The kitchen starts working long before the sun comes up because people here start their day early. We serve a lot of coffee in the mornings. Sometimes the noise from the traffic makes it hard to sleep, but that’s just how it is on T H Road. We have some staff who have lived on the premises for years. They are like family to us. We don't spend money on marketing or brochures. People usually find us because we've been on this corner for a long time. It’s hard work keeping everything running, but we manage to get through each day one by one.
