Tiffin Bites

We are located at No 18 on Sundaram Pillai Street in Purasawalkam. This part of Chennai is always a bit chaotic, especially in the mornings when everyone is rushing to get their day started. Our little shop opens up early to get the tiffins ready for the first batch of customers. It’s a modest place with just enough room for people to stand and eat or wait for their parcels. The kitchen can get quite hot when the stoves are all going at once, but that’s just part of the job. We have a few regular faces who come in every single day for their usual order. We don't have a big team here, just a handful of us making sure things don't fall behind. Sometimes the sambar is a bit spicier than the day before, depending on the chilies we got from the market. We try to keep things clean, but with the dust from the street and the constant foot traffic, it is a never-ending task. There aren't any fancy decorations on the walls or cushioned chairs to sit on. It is just a simple spot where you can get something to eat without any fuss. The noise of the buses and scooters outside is something we’ve grown used to over the years. We just keep our heads down and focus on the food and the customers who have been coming to us since we first opened our doors here.
