Tangerine Restaurant

Tangerine Restaurant is tucked away at No 5 on Murrays Gate Road. We are right in the Alwarpet area, which most people in Chennai know is a pretty active neighborhood. Being in 600018, we see a lot of local residents and people working in the nearby offices. Our place isn’t very large, but it serves our purpose well. We have been on Murrays Gate Road for some time now and have watched the street change as new places come and go. It’s a straightforward setup here. We spend most of our hours in the kitchen or making sure the tables are ready for whoever walks in. It is a lot of work, but that is how a restaurant goes. We don't have a big marketing team or anything like that. It’s just us, the staff, and the daily chores of running a food business. Some days are quieter than others, but lunch usually keeps us on our toes. The trees along the road give it a nice feel, even when it’s hot outside. We appreciate the people who stop in regularly. They aren't looking for anything flashy, just a meal and a place to sit for a bit. We try to keep things organized but sometimes it gets a bit chaotic when the rush hits. That’s just life in Alwarpet. We’re just here doing our job at No 5. Most days go by pretty fast around here.
