Our office is tucked away at No 3 on Kambar Street, right in the Metha Nagar area of Aminjikarai. It’s a quiet enough street, but once you head out toward the main roads, the Chennai traffic really hits you. We’ve been operating out of this spot for a while now. It’s not a glass-walled office in a tech park. It’s just a regular building where we get our work done. The name on the door says Talent/Sonia & Co, and we’ve tried to keep things straightforward since the day we opened. Most of our furniture is a bit older, and the files are stacked in a way that only we really understand. We don't go for big presentations or fancy talk. When people come in, they usually just sit down and we talk through whatever needs doing. Aminjikarai has a specific feel to it, a mix of old homes and small businesses, and we fit right into that. Sometimes the electricity goes out for a bit, or the street gets noisy with a local celebration, but we just carry on. We aren't trying to change the world or anything. We just want to do a decent job for the people who walk through our door. It’s about being a part of the local community here in 600029. We know the shopkeepers nearby and the tea stall at the corner. It’s just home.
