We are located at No 319 Linghi Chetty Street, which is right in the heart of the Parrys area in Chennai. If you know where the High Court is, we are just opposite that, near the Andhra Bank. It’s a very old and crowded part of the city, but that’s where all the action is. We focus mostly on biryani, and we’ve been doing it for a long time. The street outside is always full of people, cars, and bikes, so it’s never quiet around here. Our building isn't anything special to look at from the outside, but we keep the kitchen busy from morning until late at night. The smell of the spices usually lets people know they’re in the right place before they even see the sign. We have a lot of regular customers who work in the courts or the nearby shops. It gets very packed during the lunch hour, and sometimes it's hard to find a seat, but people don't seem to mind the squeeze. We just keep the big pots moving and the plates full for everyone. We don't spend money on fancy decorations because we’d rather just stick to making the food. It’s a bit of a chaotic environment, but it’s our life and we’ve gotten pretty good at managing the rush. We’re just a local business keeping up with the demand in Parrys. We stay here because this is where our customers are.
