Sri New Balaji Bhavan

You can find Sri New Balaji Bhavan at No 116 on Auddiappa Naicken Street. We are located in Sowcarpet, which is a very crowded and lively part of Chennai. Our place is near the Maha Shakthi Hotel. If you know the 600001 area, you know how busy these streets get. It is mostly narrow lanes and lots of people moving around. We have been here for a while, just serving food to the locals and whoever happens to be passing through for shopping. The kitchen is small but we make it work. It gets quite hot in there during the summer, but that is just how it is in Chennai. We do not have fancy menus or a lot of staff in uniforms. It is just us. We wake up early to start the stoves and get the first batches of food ready. Some customers have been coming to us for years. They know exactly what they want before they even sit down. We try to keep things simple and honest. We are not looking to expand into a big chain or anything like that. We just like our spot here on Auddiappa Naicken Street. Sometimes the noise from the street is a bit much, but it is part of the charm of Sowcarpet. We just keep our heads down and do the work. Sri New Balaji Bhavan is just a small part of this big city, and we are okay with that. It is what we do.
