You can find us at the corner of Dr. B.N. Road in T.Nagar, Chennai. Our address used to be Old No.7, but now it’s New No.1, which sometimes confuses the delivery boys who come by. T.Nagar is always crowded, no matter what time of day it is. Between the shoppers at the big stores and the constant flow of buses, it’s a bit of a squeeze just to get into our street. We handle transformers at Sps Transformers Pvt.Ltd. It’s funny having an industrial-type business right in the middle of such a busy commercial and residential area, but we’ve been here for a long time. The building is a bit cramped, and we’ve had to organize our space very carefully to fit all the testing equipment and the desks. When the rains come, the street gets a bit flooded, but we just put on our boots and keep moving. We mostly deal with the repair and supply of power equipment. There’s always a low hum in the background from some testing going on. The walls are covered with old charts and calendars from years ago. We don't have a fancy website or a big sales department; most of our work comes from long-time contacts in the electricity boards or local factories. We grab our lunch and snacks from the small shops around the corner. It’s a noisy, busy place to work, but being in the heart of the city means we’re close to everything.
