Soni Mini Restaurant

You can find Soni Mini Restaurant on Bundar Street in the Parrys area. It’s an old part of Chennai, very crowded and full of shops. Our address is a bit confusing because it is New number 17 but used to be Old number 9, but that is how things are in this part of town. 600001 is a busy pin code with lots of trading and people moving around. We are just a small place, like the name says. We don’t have a lot of room, so things can get tight when it’s lunch time. The fans are usually running full speed to keep the heat down. We don’t have a big team, just a few of us working together to serve the people who work in the nearby markets. It’s a lot of hard work and the street outside is always noisy with horns and shouting. We’ve been here long enough that we know most of the regulars who come in from the surrounding offices and shops. We don’t do any fancy advertising or have a polished look. The walls could probably use a fresh coat of paint, but we are too busy to worry about that right now. We just focus on the cooking and making sure the plates are clean. Parrys is a tough place to run a business because it is so hectic, but we manage just fine. It’s just a regular small restaurant for everyday people who need a quick meal.
