Socomec Ups India is located in the Thiru Vi Ka Industrial Estate in Guindy, Chennai. We are on the second floor of the B1 building. Being in an industrial estate means there is always something going on, trucks coming and going and the sound of machinery in the distance. We handle UPS systems and power management stuff, which is pretty important given how the power can flicker sometimes. Our office is a practical one, built for work rather than looking pretty. We have been here for a while and the staff knows the layout of the estate like the back of their hand. It’s a bit of a walk from the main gate, but it’s a good location for being near other engineering firms. The workspace is usually filled with the hum of electronics and the occasional sound of someone testing a battery. We don't have a big marketing department or anyone to write fancy speeches for us. We just focus on the hardware and making sure things stay running for the people who buy our units. Most of the folks who work here have been doing this for years, so we know the machines inside and out. It’s a busy, dusty, and honest place to work. We just show up, do the job, and go home, which is how we like it. There is no need for anything more complicated than that.
