Shri Gifts

We are over at Shri Gifts on 16th Avenue. It’s a busy spot in Ashok Nagar. If you climb up to the first floor at number 7, that’s where you’ll find us. Usually, there’s a lot of boxes everywhere. We spend most of our mornings just sorting through what came in the day before. It isn't a huge space, but it works for what we do. Sometimes the fans make a bit of noise, but we don't mind. We've been in this part of Ashok Nagar for a while now. Most people know the building. We try to keep things organized, though during the holiday times, it gets a bit messy with all the wrapping and tape. My desk is right by the window so I can see the street. It helps to see who is coming and going. We don’t really have a big fancy reception area. You just walk in and we're there working. Some days are quieter than others. We handle a lot of different items, mostly things people give as presents. It takes a lot of time to check everything for quality. We don’t like sending things out if they aren't right. The stairs are a bit steep, so we carry things up and down carefully. It’s just us doing the daily work, making sure things get where they need to go. We've got a small kettle in the corner for tea when things slow down in the afternoon.
