Shankar Cafe Restaurant

Shankar Cafe is right at No 189, NSC Bose Road in Parrys. If you know Chennai, you know how busy the Pookadai Bus Stand area is. We are right across from there and the BSNL office. It’s a loud, crowded part of the city, and we’ve been part of it for a long time. People come in from the bus stand looking for a quick bite or some coffee. The room is often full of the sounds of the street and people talking. We don't have fancy decorations or anything like that. The tables are simple, and the fans are always spinning to keep the heat away. Sometimes the service is fast, and sometimes, when it's really packed, you might have to wait a minute while we clear a spot. The 600001 pin code is where we spend all our time.
