Rusi A Family Restaurant

Rusi A Family Restaurant is situated at No 428 on Th Road in the Old Washermanpet area of Chennai. We are quite easy to spot because we are right near the Bharath Theatre. It is an old part of the city and we have been part of the neighborhood for a long time. As the name says, we are a family-oriented place. We have tables big enough for whole families to sit together and eat. The room is not fancy, just simple walls and ceiling fans to keep the heat away. We cook the kind of food we grew up eating here in Chennai. The noise from Th Road is always there, but once you are inside, it feels a bit more private. Our cooks have been with us for years and they know exactly how to prepare the daily specials. We do not have a big marketing budget or anything like that. We just rely on people walking by or neighbors coming back because they liked the last meal they had here. Sometimes the service is a bit slow when we are short-handed, but we try our best to get everyone fed. It is a local business run by local people. We open up every morning and stay until the dinner rush is over. If you are near the Bharath Theatre, you will see our sign. We are just a regular restaurant.
