Rice Bowl

Rice Bowl is situated at Shop No 5, G-39, on First Avenue in Anna Nagar East. Chennai can be a very busy place, and Anna Nagar East is certainly no exception. Being on First Avenue means we see a lot of people passing through every single day. Our shop is just one of many along this stretch, but we have been here at this 600102 address for a while. We don't have a massive space, just enough for what we do. The daily routine is pretty much the same every morning. We arrive, open up the shutters, and start getting things organized. It’s a very practical way to work. There are no corporate managers coming in to check on us; it’s just us running the show. The atmosphere on First Avenue is always changing depending on the time of day. In the mornings it is full of people rushing to work, and in the evenings it slows down a little. We like the shop because it’s easy to get to and it’s in a part of town that people know well. We don't put on any act or try to sound like we are bigger than we are. We are just a small bowl shop in Anna Nagar East. We do our best to stay on top of things and keep the place running smoothly for whoever walks in.
