Rasam Fine Dine Restaurant

Rasam Fine Dine Restaurant is over at No 25e on Raja Annamalai Road. We are in Purasawalkam, which is one of the busiest parts of Chennai. If you’ve ever been to Purasawalkam, you know how crowded the streets get with people shopping. We try to keep the inside of the restaurant a bit more relaxed than the street outside. It’s 600084 for those who need the pin code. We have been serving food here for some time. The staff is mostly local guys who have been with us for a while. We don't really do big advertisements; people just know where we are. The "fine dine" part of the name makes it sound more posh than we actually are. We are just a regular restaurant where we try to keep the tablecloths clean and the water glasses full. The kitchen gets really busy around 8 PM. Chennai heat is no joke, so we spend a lot on the cooling. Sometimes the noise from the traffic on Raja Annamalai Road leaks in, but usually, it's okay. We just focus on the daily routine of opening the doors and making sure the inventory is right. It’s a lot of manual work. We don't have any big mission statement, we just want to make sure the plates go out on time and the floor is swept.
