Ramson & Sons

Ramson & Sons is situated at 157 Linghi Chetty Street in Chennai. We use Post Box No. 1655 for our mail. This part of the city is known for its narrow streets and old trade houses. We have been part of this community for a very long time. Our shop is quite small and it is usually packed with stock from the floor to the ceiling. It can feel a bit overwhelming if you aren't used to it, but we know exactly where every item is tucked away. We are a small family business and we like to keep things simple. Most of our day is spent dealing with customers who come in looking for specific items. We don't have a computer system for everything; we still rely on our memory and handwritten notes. The building is old and the walls could probably use a fresh coat of paint, but it serves us well. We aren't interested in being a big corporate entity. We just want to provide what our customers need and earn an honest living. Linghi Chetty Street is always full of activity, with people and goods moving constantly. It can be a bit loud and dusty, but we wouldn't want to be anywhere else. We open early and stay until the work is done. We don't have any fancy mission statements or marketing plans. We just show up every day and do our best to run the shop properly.
