Ramalinga Vilas Restaurant

Ramalinga Vilas Restaurant is located at number 79 on Narayana Guru Salai in Choolai. We are quite close to the Choolai Post Office, which makes it easy for people to explain where we are if they are giving directions. Chennai - 600007 is a busy area, and this street has its own rhythm that we have become a part of. The restaurant is a simple place where people from the neighborhood come to eat. We do not have fancy decorations or plush chairs, just the usual tables and the sound of plates clinking. The staff has been here for a while, and they know most of the regulars who stop by after finishing their work at the post office or the nearby shops. Narayana Guru Salai can get quite dusty and noisy with all the bikes going past, but inside it is just the usual smells of spices and coffee. We open up early and stay open until the evening, just following the same routine every day. It is not the kind of place you would find in a magazine, but it works for the people who live around here. We just focus on serving the food and keeping the place running as best as we can. Sometimes the floors are a bit worn out, and the fans might creak a little, but it is home for us. We like being a part of the Choolai community and seeing the same faces every week.
