Raj Residency

Raj Residency is located on Kenneth Lane in Egmore. The address can be a bit confusing because it's New No 2 but also Old No 22, so we tell people to just look for the building right opposite the Egmore Railway Station. We’ve been here in Chennai for quite some time now. It’s a busy area with the trains coming in and out all day and night. The street is always full of people carrying bags and looking for a place to stay. We have rooms for whoever needs them. It isn't a five-star luxury place, just a regular building where you can get some rest. Being so close to the station makes things easier for travelers who don't want to drag their luggage across the city. We keep the lobby open and someone is usually around to help with check-ins. Kenneth Lane gets quite crowded during the day, but it’s part of the life here in 600008. We don't do much advertising because most people just walk in from the station. The building has seen many years and we do our best to keep it tidy for the guests. It’s just a straightforward place to spend the night. Sometimes the noise from the station drifts over, but that’s what happens when you are this close to the tracks. We just focus on running the place day by day without any fuss. The rooms are basic but they stay clean and that's the main thing we worry about.
