Ponnuswamy Hotel

Our hotel is situated at No 55/1 on Gowdiya Mutt Road in Royapettah, with the pincode 600014. It is a small location in a very crowded part of Chennai. There is no big lobby or extra space for hanging around here. Most of the floor is taken up by the dining area and the kitchen where everything happens. While the neighborhood has changed a lot, our little spot stays pretty much the same. People drop in for a quick meal and then head back to their jobs. It is not the type of place where you sit for hours on end. We use simple ingredients and don't try to make the plates look fancy. On rainy days, the floor gets a bit messy from all the feet coming in, but we mop it as much as possible. Our small team works hard to make sure everything is ready by the afternoon. The heat can be a lot during the summer months, but we are used to the pace by now. No big ads or promotions are needed because people just know we are here. Most of the customers walk past us every day on their way to the shops. It is a plain setup for anyone who needs a meal. We open the doors early and stay until the food is all gone. This is just our daily life on Gowdiya Mutt Road and we are happy to serve the locals.
