Pizza Cottage

Our little spot is located at No 87/43 on Prakasam Road, right in the thick of Parrys. If you know Chennai, you know how hectic this area gets. We are quite close to Our Lady School, so we often see the kids and parents walking by when the bells ring in the afternoon. The noise of the city is just part of the background here. We’ve been operating out of this space for a while, and honestly, the walls could probably tell some stories about all the flour we've spilled over the years. It’s a simple setup with our ovens and a few tables that have been around since we started. Most of the time, we’re just busy in the back, checking on the orders and making sure everything is chopped right. Parrys has a certain energy that you don't find elsewhere, even if the traffic is a nightmare sometimes. We don't have a big team, just a few of us who know where everything is kept. The mornings are usually spent getting things ready before the lunch rush starts. It gets pretty hot in here with the ovens going and the humidity outside, but we’re used to it by now. We just focus on the work, taking one order at a time and making sure the boxes are stacked neatly. It’s a basic life, but it keeps us busy from morning until we finally head home.
