Parotta Bazaar Anna Nagar

We are located at No 1318 on 18th Main Road in Anna Nagar. The shop has been here for a while and every day is pretty much the same routine. We start early in the morning getting the dough ready for the parottas. It takes a lot of kneading and sitting time before it’s any good for the tawa. The street outside gets really busy around 9 AM and doesn't quiet down until late at night. You can hear the buses and bikes constantly passing by our front door. Most of the people who come in are locals living in 600040 or folks working in the nearby shops. It’s a simple setup with tables and chairs that have seen a lot of use over the years. We don't have fancy decorations on the walls or anything like that. The kitchen is right there and it gets quite hot during the lunch rush when the orders pile up. Sometimes the flour gets everywhere, even on our clothes and the floor, but that is just how it is when you make this kind of food. We try to keep things moving so people don’t have to wait too long. Often, the same people stop by every evening on their way home from work to pick up a few packets. We just do our work, clean up at the end of the day, and come back to do it again the next morning.
