Parijatha Restaurant

We are located at No 100, G A Road, right in the middle of Washermanpet. If you are looking for us, we are directly opposite the Telephone Exchange. It’s a busy spot in Chennai and we’ve been here for quite some time now. The building is older, but it serves our purpose well enough. We start our day early, usually before the sun is fully up, to get the kitchen ready. There is a lot of chopping and prepping that goes on behind the scenes. Our staff are mostly local folks who have been working with us for years. We don’t have fancy uniforms or a polished front desk. It is just a simple restaurant where people can come to eat. The tables are basic and we keep them wiped down throughout the day. Lunchtime is usually when things get a bit chaotic. You will see people from the nearby offices and shops crowding in. We try to get the food out as fast as possible, but sometimes there is a wait. We don’t mind the noise; it makes the place feel alive. Sometimes we run out of the specials by mid-afternoon if it’s been a particularly busy day. We just do our best to keep things running smoothly. There isn't much to say other than we are a local business trying to provide a meal to anyone who walks through the door on G A Road. We just keep going every day and try to stay organized.
