Olive Garden Restaurant Alwarpet

You will find us at No 68, Abhiramapuram, right on C P Ramasamy Road in Alwarpet. We are situated directly opposite the Citi Bank, which is a well-known landmark in this part of Chennai. This neighborhood has a very specific feel to it, being a mix of old residential houses and new shops. We’ve been operating here for a while now. The street is usually lined with cars, and it gets quite busy during the day. Running a restaurant in Alwarpet means we see a lot of regular faces from the local community. It’s not a massive place, just a comfortable size for what we do. I spend most of my days here, making sure the supplies are fresh and the staff is doing their bit. Sometimes the monsoon rains make things difficult, with water pooling near the entrance, but we just sweep it away and keep going. We don’t go in for fancy marketing or anything like that. We just provide a place for people to eat. The kitchen can get a bit disorganized when we have a rush, but we sort it out eventually. It’s a lot of work keeping a place like this running every single day without a break. Most of our furniture is simple and we don’t have any elaborate decor. It’s just an honest, local spot where we do our best with what we have and keep the floor as clean as possible.
