You can find us at No 7/1-A on G N Chetty Road in T Nagar, right across from where Sandeepa Restaurant is. This part of Chennai is always crowded, so there’s a constant stream of cars and people passing by outside. Our shop is a straightforward place where the main focus is just getting the food out to the tables. We spend hours every day grinding the batter and getting the chutneys ready. It’s a lot of physical work and the kitchen stays humid from all the steaming. We have simple stainless steel tables and the noise level can get pretty high when the place is full of people talking. We don't have any polished corporate mission or a fancy brand strategy. We just open the doors in the morning and start serving. We see a lot of shoppers who are tired from walking around T Nagar and just want a quick snack and some coffee. The staff is used to the fast pace, though sometimes things get a bit disorganized during the Sunday morning rush. We try to keep the place clean, but it’s hard when so many people are coming in and out all day long. We don't bother with advertisements because everyone in the area already knows where we are. It’s a practical business, and we just take things as they come, one plate at a time.
