Mullai Restaurant

Mullai Restaurant is located on Gandhi Irwin Road at the corner of Ethiraj Salai in Chennai. Our address is actually Old No 19 and New No 6. We are right opposite the Egmore Railway Station, which is a very busy spot. There are always people rushing to catch trains or coming out of the station looking for a bite to eat. Being on Ethiraj Salai means we get a lot of foot traffic throughout the day. The restaurant has been here for a while and we are used to the noise of the city. We open early and stay open until late to match the station's schedule. It is a simple setup with tables and chairs where people can rest for a bit before their next journey. We don't go for anything fancy; we just keep the place tidy and serve the food as fast as we can. Chennai heat can be tough, so it’s good to have a place to sit inside. Our staff is mostly local guys who know the area well. We see a lot of travelers, but also some regulars from the nearby offices. It’s a mix of everyone. We just keep our heads down and do the work. It’s a practical location for a restaurant and we are glad to be right there in the middle of all the Chennai action. Sometimes the traffic outside is a bit much, but that's just life near a major station. We focus on our daily routine and making sure the kitchen is ready for the next rush.
