You can find Microtek Power Controls (P) Ltd at 15 North Crescent Road in T. Nagar. It is a well-known area and can get pretty crowded, especially during the middle of the week. Our building is right there on the road, and we’ve been operating out of this space for a good bit of time now. We work on power controls, so there are always blueprints and components laying around on the desks. The atmosphere here is pretty relaxed but we stay busy with the technical side of things. T. Nagar has a lot of energy, and we feel that even inside the office. We usually have a few people coming in and out to discuss technical specs or pick up some documents. It isn’t a very large office, but it fits what we need to do. We don't use any fancy management styles or corporate talk; we just talk to each other like regular people and get the work done. Lunch breaks are usually spent at one of the local spots nearby, then it is back to the power control units. Sometimes the electricity in the area acts up, which is a bit funny considering what we do for a living. We just keep things practical and don't make a big deal out of the daily grind. It is just a group of us trying to do a decent job at our address in Chennai without making any unnecessary noise about it.
