Mexican Don Pepe Restaurant

Mexican Don Pepe Restaurant is over at No 73 Cathedral Road in Gopalapuram. We are situated near Hotel Maris, which is a place most locals know. We’ve been serving food here for a while now. Gopalapuram is a nice part of the city, and being on Cathedral Road means there is always something happening outside our doors. We just do Mexican food the way we know how. It is not a very big place, but we have enough room for folks to sit down. We didn't want to make it look like those big chain restaurants you see in malls. We just have our tables and the kitchen in the back. The staff here are just regular people from the neighborhood. We open up every day and get the ingredients ready. Sometimes the rain in Chennai makes things slow, and other times it’s so hot that everyone just wants to stay inside. 600086 is the area code if you're sending something. We don't spend money on big ads or anything like that. People usually just hear about us from their friends or see us when they are walking toward the hotel nearby. It's just a simple restaurant. We focus on the cooking and keeping the place tidy. There isn't much more to it than that. We are just glad to be part of the street here on Cathedral Road.
