Marry Brown - Family Restaurant (Franchisee: M/S Akshaya Foods)

This Marry Brown is the one in Adyar, located on 3rd Cross Street in Kasturba Nagar. We are part of the Akshaya Foods franchise, but we try to keep it feeling like a local neighborhood spot. It is a family restaurant through and through. You see a lot of parents bringing their kids here for fried chicken or burgers, especially on the weekends when nobody wants to cook at home. The address is New No. 7, and it’s a pretty easy place to find if you are walking around the Kasturba Nagar area. We have been here for some time now and have seen the neighborhood change a bit around us. The dining area is simple with some booths and tables. We keep the air conditioning running high because the Chennai heat can be a lot for people coming in from outside. Our staff is mostly young people from the area who work the counters and the kitchen. It gets pretty fast-paced when the lunch hour hits. We don't do anything too complicated, just fast food that people like. It’s a clean place where you can grab a quick bite or sit for a while with your friends. We just focus on keeping the food coming out fresh and making sure everyone has a seat. It gets noisy with the kids sometimes, but that is just part of being a family place in this part of town.
