Our place is at 2 & 3, Gopalakrishna Street in T.Nagar. If you know T.Nagar, you know how packed and lively it is. We are right in the middle of all that energy. The building has been our home for K. Dhandapani & Co. Ltd. for quite a while. We have two units next to each other, which helps with the stock we have to keep. The street outside is always full of shoppers and vehicles. It makes getting deliveries in a bit of a challenge sometimes. Inside, it is a maze of electrical goods and components. We have shelves reaching all the way to the ceiling. Finding something usually involves a ladder and a bit of a search. The office is tucked in the back and is always humming with the sound of the old air conditioner. We have a lot of long-time customers who just walk in and start chatting. We don't have any fancy brochures. We just show people the actual products. It is a very traditional way of doing business. The staff here is like a small family. We have our tea breaks together and complain about the heat. T.Nagar is a great place to be because there is always something happening. Even when it is raining and the street gets flooded, we still find a way to keep things running. It is just how we do things here on Gopalakrishna Street.
