Our place is on Perambur Barracks Road in Pattalam. If you are looking for us, we are at number 21. It’s right across from the Charminar Masjid in Pattalam, which is a very easy landmark to spot if you are coming from that direction. Chennai gets pretty warm, and this road is always moving with bikes and people. We have been here in the 600012 area for a while now. The morning starts early here because of the mosque across the street. You see people coming and going all day long. It’s a lively part of the city, and we are just one of the many spots on this long road. The shop isn't anything too special to look at from the outside, but it’s where we spend all our time. We keep things simple and try to keep up with the daily rush of the neighborhood. Working in Pattalam means you get to know the faces of the people who live nearby. Sometimes the noise from the traffic on Perambur Barracks Road can be a lot, but you get used to it after a few years. We just focus on our daily tasks and making sure everything is ready for whoever walks through the door. It’s a local spot for local people. No need for anything complicated. We’re just here doing our thing day in and day out. That is how we have always run Iqbal Restaurant.
