Icarus Restaurant Punjabi Dhaba

I'm writing this for Icarus Restaurant Punjabi Dhaba. We are located at No 60 on the 2nd floor. It's on Pantheon Road in Egmore, zip code 600008. Since we are on the second floor, you have to walk up the stairs to get to us. It's a decent space once you get inside. We mostly focus on Punjabi food because that's what we know how to do. Egmore is a busy area with lots of people coming and going for work or errands. Being on Pantheon Road means there is always something happening outside. We aren't a big fancy chain or anything like that. It’s just us running the kitchen and the dining room every day. We try to keep things honest and the food hot. Sometimes the music is a bit loud or the chairs might squeak, but we like the atmosphere. It feels like a real dhaba even though we are up in a building in the city. People come in for lunch or dinner when they are tired of cooking at home. We have been here for some time and have gotten to know the regular faces around Egmore. It is a lot of work to keep a restaurant going, but it is what we do. If you happen to be on Pantheon Road and feel hungry for something from the north, just look for number 60.
