Epicurean

Epicurean is located at number 29 on Jai Nagar 1St Main Road in Arumbakkam. This part of Chennai 600106 is mostly quiet residential streets, so we don't get that massive city rush you find in other areas. We like it that way because we know most of the people who walk through the door by their first names. The building is simple, and we try to keep the front area clear so people can find us easily among all the houses. Every morning starts with getting the supplies delivered and checking what we need for the day ahead. Sometimes the delivery truck blocks the narrow road for a minute, which the neighbors don't always love, but we move fast. Inside, the furniture is just basic stuff that works for a meal. We aren't trying to be a five-star place with white tablecloths or anything like that. We are just a local spot where you can sit down and have something to eat without any fuss. The walls could probably use a fresh coat of paint eventually, but for now, they hold the memories of all the meals served here. It’s just me and a few others working here, so if it gets busy, you might have to wait a little bit while we finish up in the back. We don’t have a big marketing team or anyone telling us how to run things, we just do what feels right for the neighborhood.
