Devinarayana Exporters (P) Ltd. is tucked away on the second floor of 6 Link Street in Kottar Gardens. It’s a fairly quiet street compared to the main roads, but finding a spot to park a bike can still be tricky in the mornings. We have been operating from this office for a while. It’s a basic setup with desks, some old filing cabinets, and a few computers that have seen a lot of use. The stairs up to the second floor are a bit narrow and steep, so we usually just stay up here once we arrive for the day. We deal with the export business, which mostly means a lot of paperwork and even more phone calls to different people. It isn't a very exciting office to look at. We don't have any decorations on the walls, just calendars and maybe a few notes taped to the monitors. Our team is small and we all know each other’s habits by now. We don't have a big fancy meeting room; we usually just talk across our desks when something needs to be sorted out. The coffee machine in the corner is a bit temperamental, so we often just go out to the local stall nearby. We don't try to sound like a giant multinational company. We are just a small group of people doing our jobs from this room in Kottar Gardens. It is just a practical space for practical work.
