Badar Textiles

We are located on Angappa Naicken Street. The address can be a bit confusing because it's New No: 67 but it used to be Old No: 32. People still get them mixed up sometimes. Badar Textiles has been here for a long time. It’s a busy street, always lots of people and carts moving past our door. Inside, it’s mostly just stacks of cloth and the sound of people talking over the noise from outside. We deal with textiles in a very hands-on way. There are no fancy showrooms here. We just have our office and the storage areas. We spend our time checking orders and talking to suppliers. Sometimes the office feels a bit cramped because of all the fabric samples lying around. We don't mind it much. It’s just the way things are when you’ve been in the same spot for years. The tea guy comes by twice a day, and that’s usually when we take a short break. Otherwise, it’s just constant work. We aren't trying to be the biggest or anything like that. We just want to do our job and keep the business going. If you come by the P.O. Box area, you’ll find us easily. It’s a simple operation run by people who know their fabric. We just do the daily work and go home to get some rest before doing it all again. Most weeks we are here working quite late into the evenings.
