Vortex Electronics Private Limited

Vortex Electronics Private Limited is tucked away at 9/3 Ekdalia Place on the first floor. It feels more like a house than an office since Ekdalia is a bit more residential than the big commercial streets. We’ve got a couple of rooms filled with testing equipment and components that seem to multiply when we aren't looking. Being on the first floor is nice because we don't have to climb too many stairs, but the light isn't always the best in the back rooms. We spend our time troubleshooting boards and looking at schematics that would make most people’s heads spin. It’s a quiet kind of work, mostly just the sound of soldering irons or the clicking of keyboards. We don't have a dress code or anything like that; most of us just wear what’s comfortable for a long day of sitting. Sometimes the neighbors come by to complain about where a delivery van has parked, and we have to go out and sort it out. It’s a very local way of doing things. We don't have a big flashy sign outside, so if you didn't know we were here, you might just walk right past. We prefer it that way, really. It lets us get on with our electronics work without too many distractions from the outside world. During the monsoon, the rain really drums on the window panes, making it hard to hear anything else.
