Bedwin Dhakuria Restaurant

Our place is located at 15 Gariahat Road in the Dhakuria area. If you’ve spent any time in this part of the city, you know how busy the road gets with all the buses and pedestrians. We’ve been operating out of this spot for a long time. The building shows its age a bit, but we do our best to keep it in good shape. Every morning, the shutters go up and we start the day by cleaning the counters and getting the ovens ready. It’s a lot of repetitive work, but it’s what keeps the business going. We get a real mix of people coming through—shoppers from Gariahat, office workers, and students. The space inside is functional. We don’t have fancy chairs or expensive decorations. It’s built for eating and then moving on. Sometimes we run out of certain items by the evening because we only make so much each day. We don’t like wasting food, so when it’s gone, it’s gone. The staff works hard, often in a hot kitchen, to make sure everything is ready on time. We’ve seen many other shops open and close on this street, but we’ve managed to stay put at 700031. It’s a simple operation, run by people who live nearby and care about doing things the right way. No frills, just a solid routine that we follow every single day.
