Altus Golabari

Altus Golabari is located over on Thana Road in Kolkata, not too far from Baroaritala. We’re also quite close to the Gorabazar area. This part of town is always moving, so there’s a lot of noise and people passing by our door every day. We opened this place because we liked the idea of having a shop right in the middle of all that energy. It’s a small space, nothing too big or flashy. You might miss it if you aren’t looking, but we’re right there on the main road. Most of our regulars come from the nearby market or live in the houses tucked behind the shops. We handle things ourselves here. Sometimes the deliveries are late or the street gets blocked, but that’s just how it is in this part of Kolkata. We don’t have a big team, just a few of us making sure things run. The walls could probably use a fresh coat of paint soon, but it feels like home to us. It’s a practical spot for people who need what we offer without traveling too far. We’ve been at 3 Thana Road for a while now and we know the neighbors. If you’re around Gorabazar, you’ve probably walked past us. It’s a simple setup, no corporate stuff, just a local business trying to do its job every day. The fan in the corner makes a bit of noise, but it keeps us cool.
