Airlines Hotel

Airlines Hotel is tucked away in Kapalitola Lane over in Bowbazar. It’s right near the old Indian Airlines city office, which most people around here know pretty well. The area is always crowded with people walking to work or heading to the shops. Our building isn't brand new, but it stands there on the corner of the lane. We have been running things here for a while now. The rooms are simple with basic furniture and fans that keep the air moving. You can hear the city noise from the windows, like the horns and people talking downstairs. It’s a busy spot. We mostly see people who are in town for some quick business or travelers who need to be near the center of things. The lobby is just a small space where we keep the register and some chairs. The staff mostly just stays behind the desk or helps with the bags. Sometimes the water takes a minute to get hot, but it works. We don’t have fancy carpets or big statues. It is just a place to stay while you are in Kolkata. The street outside gets quite muddy when it rains, so you have to watch your step. We try to keep the place clean enough for everyone who comes through. It’s just a regular hotel in a very old, busy part of the city. We don’t do anything too fancy, just provide a room and a bed for the night.
