Asha Restaurant

Asha Restaurant is situated at 94/1 on Acharya Prafulla Chandra Road, though most people around here just call it APC Road. This part of the city is always moving, with cars and buses honking all day long. Our spot is right in the middle of that 700009 zip code chaos. We have been here for a good amount of time, watching the shops around us change while we stay mostly the same. The walls inside could probably use a new coat of paint, but they have character this way. It’s a small place, really. We don’t have a lot of space, so things can get a bit tight when it rains and everyone tries to crowd inside at once. Usually, it’s just us doing the usual work, wiping down the counters and checking the supplies. The street outside is dusty, but we try to keep the front tidy. You can hear the trams if you listen closely enough over the sound of the kitchen. Most of our visitors are just people working nearby or students who need a quick meal before their next class. We don’t do anything fancy with the menu or the way the tables are set. It’s just a regular local joint where you can sit for a bit and then get back to your day. Life on APC Road is fast, but inside here, it feels a little slower and more predictable than the street outside.
