Trio Restaurants

Trio Restaurants is located right by the Mandir Palace in Jaisalmer. If you walk over to Gandhi Chowk, you will find us easily. Being in Jaisalmer, we get a lot of sand and sun, but the view of the palace is something we never get tired of. We have been serving food here for quite a while. It’s a place where you can sit and watch the tourists and locals mix together in the square. The building itself has that old stone feel that you find all over this city. We don't put on any acts; we just serve the food we’ve been cooking for years. In the evenings, when the sun goes down and the palace lights up, it gets really nice around here. We have a lot of different people coming through our doors from all over the world, but we also have local friends who stop by for a chat. The kitchen gets busy, especially during the tourist season, and sometimes we are running around trying to keep up. It’s a good kind of busy though. We don't use any corporate talk or fancy labels. We are just a restaurant at Gandhi Chowk doing our thing. The desert wind can be a bit much sometimes, but we just shut the doors and keep the stoves going. It’s a simple life running a kitchen in the Golden City.
