Lalgarh Palace Restaurant

You can find us inside the Lalgarh Fort & Palace Hotel on Patwa Haveli Road. We are part of the Kalakar Colony area in Jaisalmer. It’s a historic part of the city, and the building has been around for a long time. We aren't a modern glass building; we have that old Jaisalmer stone look. People come here because they are visiting the fort or staying in the colony. We serve food to the guests and locals who walk by. The address is 345001, right in the thick of things. Running a restaurant in a place like this means we have to deal with the heat and the dust of the desert, but we manage. We don't have a big marketing department. We just have the kitchen and the dining area. We try to keep the atmosphere quiet so people can enjoy their meal. It’s a bit of a walk from some parts of town, but being on Patwa Haveli Road makes us easy to locate. We just focus on the daily tasks of getting ingredients and preparing the menu. There isn't anything too flashy about how we work. We are just a local restaurant in a very old part of town. Most of our days are spent making sure the tables are ready for whoever comes in. We like being in Kalakar Colony. It feels like home to us and we just keep doing what we do.
