Kanishka Garden Restaurant

Working at Kanishka Garden Restaurant on Ramgarh Road in Jaisalmer means dealing with a lot of sun and sand. We are located in the CV Singh Colony, right across from the Collectrate. Because of that, we get a lot of people who work in government offices coming in for their lunch breaks. They’re usually in a hurry to get back to their desks, so we have to keep things moving. Jaisalmer is a beautiful place, but the heat is no joke. We spend a lot of time making sure the seating area is as comfortable as it can be. The restaurant isn't some high-end tourist trap. It’s just a local spot where people can sit down. We get the vegetables from the local vendors every morning, and if they don't have something, we just don't cook it that day. That's how things work in 345001. Our furniture is simple and the walls could probably use a fresh coat of paint, but it feels like home to us. We don't have a big team of waiters. It’s just a few of us doing everything from taking orders to cleaning the floors. You won't find any polished marketing here, just real people making food. Sometimes the desert wind blows a bit too hard and we have to shut the doors tight. We just take each day as it comes and try to stay busy. It can be exhausting, but this is what we know how to do best.
