Tulip Restaurant

We have been running Tulip Restaurant for a while now inside the Shenbaga Hotel on Mahatma Gandhi Road here in Muthialpet. It’s right on the main road so people find us pretty easily when they are walking around Pondicherry. We mostly just focus on getting the kitchen ready every morning and making sure the tables are set before the lunch crowd starts coming in. Sometimes it gets a bit noisy when the convention centre has a big event, but usually, it's just regular folks stopping by for a meal. We don't do anything too fancy, just the usual stuff you’d expect. Most of the staff has been here long enough to know the regulars by name. It’s a decent spot if you’re already in the area or staying at the hotel. We keep things simple because that’s what works for us. The kitchen stays busy through the evening, and we try to keep up with the orders as they come. Nothing special, just a place to eat and sit down for a bit. We’ve seen a lot of changes in Muthialpet over the years, but we’re still here at the same spot. It’s just how we do things every day. We open up, cook, and then clean up at night. That’s pretty much the whole story. If you’re near the 432 mark on MG Road, you’ll see our sign. It's a straightforward place and we like it that way. We don't have any big corporate plans, just staying open and serving food to whoever walks in.
