You will find us at number 23 on Goubert Avenue, right inside The Promenade. Being near the Old Light House in Pondicherry means we get a lot of the sea breeze, which is nice when the weather gets humid. We have been here for a good while, watching the people walk along the water every evening. It is a slow-paced kind of place, which fits the vibe of this part of town. We are not a big, loud establishment. Instead, we just try to offer a decent place to sit down and have a meal while you look out at the avenue. The staff is mostly local, and they know the area well. We don't really do the whole polished marketing thing. We are just a group of people working in a restaurant by the sea. The building has its own history, being part of The Promenade, and we just fit into a small corner of that. On weekends, the road gets closed to cars, and it becomes a lot quieter, which we actually quite like. It gives us a chance to breathe a bit while we work. If you are strolling past the lighthouse, you will see us there. We keep things simple and practical. No big promises, just a kitchen that stays open for the tourists and the folks who live here in Pondicherry. It is a good spot.
