Akashya Restaurant

Akashya Restaurant is on Rangapillai Street. We are at number 255, in the Anandham Residency building. It is quite easy to find us if you look for the Raja Cinema Theatre signal. We are right near that intersection. Our kitchen is busy from morning until late at night. We serve a lot of local folks who live around Pondicherry 605003. It is a simple setup we have here. We do not have a big menu with pictures or anything. Just the food we make every day. The tables are usually full around lunchtime because of the shops nearby. We have been here for a bit, and we know most of our regulars by name. It can get a little loud when the theater lets out and the signal gets backed up, but we like the energy. We are not part of any big chain. It is just our restaurant in the residency. We spend a lot of time cleaning and prepping. Sometimes we run out of certain dishes early if it is a busy Friday. That is just how it goes when you cook fresh. We do not do fancy decorations. Just chairs, tables, and good food. If you are walking down Rangapillai Street near the cinema, you will see our sign. Stop in and find a seat if there is one open. We will be in the back or behind the counter.
