Aruna Restaurant

Our restaurant is tucked away at No 3 Zamindar Garden, right on S V Patel Salai. It’s a pretty good location because we are near the old Ajantha Theatre and right next to the Atithi Hotel. Pondicherry is a beautiful place, and being in this part of town means we see a lot of tourists and locals alike. Aruna Restaurant isn't a high-end dining hall. It’s more of a place where you can get a good meal that tastes like it was made at home. We have a small team in the kitchen who have been with us for years. They know exactly how to cook the local favorites. The space is simple with basic tables and chairs, nothing too flashy. We spend most of our time making sure the food is fresh and the floors are swept. Sometimes it gets a bit crowded during the lunch hour, and service might take a minute longer, but we try to get to everyone as fast as we can. We don't really do much advertising. People usually just wander in after seeing the sign while walking down S V Patel Salai. It’s a quiet enough street compared to the main market area. We’re just happy to be part of the neighborhood here in 605001. If you're looking for us, just find the old theatre and we’re right there. We just keep things practical and local.
